The Jain Gallery at the Telangana State Museum in Hyderabad—a once-cherished space housing rare Jain sculptures and inscriptions—now lies abandoned and closed for over five years. Its roof has collapsed, water seeps in, vegetation chokes its walls, and the artifacts endure fungal damage and structural decay. Once created to bring scattered heritage into a single educational sanctuary, the gallery now faces the very real risk of permanent loss. Despite its cultural importance, restoration is stalled—awaiting funding, plans, and action
